REVIEWS

"I'm addicted to The Nadas. I first started using The Nadas a couple of years ago. I don't know what it is about their music, but I just can't stop. This CD "Coming Home" hasn't left the CD player in my car for weeks. Sure I'll take it out but it only gets replaced with one of the other three Nadas CD's. My best guess is that The Nadas have this nack for composing music that is good for the soul. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry... but it mostly just makes you smile. Either that, or they have recorded subliminal messages under the music. The verdict is still out on that though. Whatever the case may be, this and all of The Nadas CD's come highly recommended. And if you happen to be lucky enough to have them come to your town, go check them out. You'll be hard pressed to find a better time." -Indshk1, Chicago, IL

"An Emotional Roller Coaster that breaks all the bearers and will leaves you standing breathless. The Nadas will make the hair on your neck stand on end, giving you an uncontrolled smile and yet may leave a tear in your eye. The crisp lyrics and clean sound of the six strings along with a solid bass and a beat that a metronome can't match will surly make your heart jump. What a fresh relief to know that bands like this can play as good live as in the studio. After a hearing them play at the State Theater in Kalamazoo, Michigan I am now a loyal follower... DJ Spinn" -Scott Fitzsimmons, Schoolcraft, MI

"Last April was the first time I had heard the Nadas. They came and played an outdoor show at Drake, and they were just incredible. I went over to the table right then, and bought 2 of their albums. I thought to myself, "Bands are never as good on an album as they are in person." I put it in my CD player the next day, and couldn't get over how much I STILL liked them. Their music is layered without sounding too busy, and unlike many bands today, they can actually sing and harmonize well. Still the album I put on when I'm having a bad day after 5 months. If you buy this CD, you will not regret it, I promise." -Cary Waxler, Drake University

"I first discovered the Nadas seven years ago when they were still a bar band in Ames, Ia. They were excellent then and they have only gotten better. This latest work "Coming Home" is excellent and Mike Butterworth has out done himself on the ballads. A must buy!" - Ed Abbey

"The Nadas just seem to get better with each album. This is their 3rd (one is a live album) and I have a hard time imagining it will not be among my top 3 come voting time. Acoustic guitars form the basis for the sound, but they are not afraid of a well placed electric jangle. Mostly, though, these are simply great songs. The lyrics are homespun and engaging, the music ranges from uplifting to starkly beautiful, and the harmonies, well, if only I could... It's mellow and exciting at the same time. Just wonderful." - dimike, New York
