A collection of 14 tracks by some of the world's most famous jazz/blues artists including Charles Mingus, Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane and Ken Mcintire. All these recordings were either produced by or released under the supervision of Alan Douglas while he was running the jazz record division of United Artists Records back in 1962. Each collaboration of artists was carefully picked by Douglas to create a unique sound.
