Artist Profile
Arnold Duprey began his musical journey playing the bass guitar in his native homeland of Trinidad and Tobago. He later began a love affair with the steeldrums through his fascination with the tonal quality of this instrument.

He migrated to the USA and lived amongst the free spirits of the San Francisco area where he formed the Windjammer Band with two friends. They completed several overseas tours including a tour to Japan with the Caribbean Stars.

Later he moved to Las Vegas where he put together another version of the Windjammer Band and performed in the major strip hotels, playing a mixture of R & B, Jazz, and Caribbean music.

Schivo Productions invited Arnold to perform in the "Jazz Under the Stars" concert, which featured Jeff Lorber and Peter White, after listening to his debut CD "Jazz de Soca".
