A widowed rancher must fight greed and gunfire to find love again and rebuild his family.

"Gower, a widower of many years, finds himself drawn to the woman's beauty and compassion."

Set in 1879 in drought-sticken Cottonwood, Colorado, a local rancher, John Gower (Granger Hines, "The Alamo" 13 Days To Glory", "War and Remembrance"), comes across an overturned wagon. There he finds his neighbor, Tom Fender, crushed and discovers Fender's new bride, Julian (Venusa Sppindler, "Discretion Assured", "1999"), lying unconscious in a ditch. With reservations, Grower takes in this strange, lovely woman to tend her wounds.

Gower's yound daughter, JD (Sabrina Chateau, "Tarzan and the Lion Girl"), becomes fascinated by this mysterious stranger and Gower, a widower of many years, finds himself drawn to the woman's beauty and compassion.

Across the valley, trouble is brewing. The powerful Colonel Howling (Ted Markland, "Another 48 Hours", "How The west Was Won") is using his money and influence to acquire all the cattle land he can -- by force, if necessary. His lust for the gold he believes lies underneath leads to growing violence and, ultimately, a showdown.

When the countryside erupts with greed and gunfilre, John Gower can only save his family by ending the violent feud once and for all.
