Artist Profile
Al Gates began writing songs about life at age 14 and recorded his first studio song at age 17 at Harmony Brooks Recording Studio in Milford, PA under the direction of Harvey Brooks the former bassist for the Doors. That connection was instigated by Bob Libunsky the "King of the Jingles" and country artist. Al drifted to the Nashville scene where he performed in clubs and on cable TV with Jeannie Shepard and other well known country artists.

Al has found a new home at Indawoods Audio, a superb Independent Recording Studio/Label/Mastering House that's well known to CMC Artists everywhere. Al's debut CD, "You Can't Get There From Here", features his exceptional song writing skills along with a host of guest appearances by NY's most acclaimed musicians including internationally acclaimed artist/producer Deane Delli-Bovi.
