Description

The Illumined Self: A Choral Cantata

"The Kingdom of God is within." An intense spiritual journey unfolds when twelve World-Class choral singers combine their talents with an East-West instrumental ensemble. Through music based on ancient Indian texts, we hear the tale of a trembling aspirant who approaches an illumined teacher. Full of yearning and awe, the aspirant receives instruction, which is followed by long hours of intense meditation. After attaining enlightenment, he bathes in the glow of sublime, eternal peace.
